Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of Christine (Stockbauer) Ilic with whom he lived and of the late Milan Ilic. His given name, Dragomir, translates as “To whom peace is precious i.e. he who cares about peace”. He was a lifelong resident of the city. He was an attendant for the City of Attleboro. Besides his mother he is survived by four brothers, Luka, Dragon, Janek and Richard Ilic all of Pawtucket, four sisters, Jowanka, and Helga Ilic, Marianka Bredeson all of Pawtucket, Milanka Bredeson of North Attleboro and numerous nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gunther Ilic. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the CHEETHAM MORTUARY, INC., 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
